“Who Will Rid Me of This Troublesome Priest?”

Make that “troublesome representative, troublesome judge, troublesome nine-year old”

From CNN:

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remained in critical condition Sunday morning after a gunman shot her in the head and then opened fire on a crowd gathered at a political meet-and-greet outside an Arizona supermarket.

The shooting killed six people, including a federal judge and a 9-year-old girl, and wounded 14 others, authorities said.

A March 2010 tweet from Sarah Palin:

“Don’t Retreat – Instead RELOAD!”

Pls see my Facebook page.

From her Facebookpage, this map with crosshairs,

and this comment:

“ This is just the first salvo in a fight…”

Emphasis hers. Widely reported. I found it here first when I looked it up:

In Jared Lee Loughner, Palin has found her Richard le Breton.

Update: The New York Times reports that Sarah Palin’s webpage with the crosshairs map has been taken down. Nice try, Sarah. Can you put the bullets back in the gun?
